Closure of Smile In Style due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Due to the escalation of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we received a directive from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA) on Thursday the 26th of March 2020 to restrict our dental services. Sadly, as a result of these restrictions, and in order to protect our patients, our staff and the community, we have decided to close our dental practice from Friday 27th of March 2020.
We will be following the advice of the AHPPC and ADA and we will be in contact once they have advised us that it is safe to resume our dental services.
The government has also opened new lines of communication with smartphone users, launching a WhatsApp message group and the Coronavirus Australia app, which will offer features such as up-to-date COVID-19 information, a symptoms checker, advice, news and media, resources and you can even register your isolation.
We kindly ask that as members of our Smile In Style community, that you follow the State and Federal Government guidelines to restrict the spread of COVID-19, so that we can flatten the curve and enable vital access to health services in Victoria those that need it.
- Stay home unless you are visiting a healthcare practitioner, shopping for essential items, or exercising once a day
- Practice social distancing of 1.5meters to prevent the spread of COVID-19
- Wash hands or use hand sanitiser after going outside
- Cough or sneeze into the crook of your elbow
- Limit indoor and outdoor non-essential gatherings to 2 people
Thank you for your understanding during this stressful time of the COVID-19 pandemic and feel free to contact us via email on email@example.com if you have any questions regarding your dental care. We will be checking our emails and phone calls regularly, so you will always be able to stay in touch with us.
Look after your mental health by staying connected with your friends and family via phone, social media and video calls, during this stressful time.
In the mean time, stay well, stay safe and stay home.
